Mother nature can't make up her mind lately! It was hovering around zero today, without the crazy gusts of wind. I escaped the cold weather at the City of Craft - a fantastic craft show that takes place twice a year (I went for the first time last fall). I bought a whole bunch of stuff, including some screen printed cards, homemade soaps, and a bag from Bookhou. I hung up my bag when I got home. Later on, I found the Quatchis just hanging around. I guess they like my new purchase too!
Q is so lucky to have friends from around the world. Sophia and the Quatchi clan at QuatchiFan2010sent us these crafts all the way from South Korea. Thank you for thinking of us! We love them very much!
It's Sumi, the Paralympic mascot! Sumi is an animal spirit who lives in the mountains of British Columbia. Like many Canadians, Sumi's background is drawn from many places. He wears the hat of the orca whale, flies with the wings of the mighty thunderbird, and runs on the strong furry legs of the black bear.

The great people at Quatchi Watch sent Q and I package. Here's Q taking a peek of what's inside.
And here's Q with the contents of the package. Aren't these Quatchi pennants awesome? They were made by S and E for an Opening Ceremonies party they hosted. Q is ecstatic to receive these. But wait, there's more!
A Quatchi shrinky dink! I used to love, love, love making these when I was a kid. Thanks again, S and E for the package!!!
