Quatchi Crafts

The great people at Quatchi Watch sent Q and I package. Here's Q taking a peek of what's inside.

And here's Q with the contents of the package. Aren't these Quatchi pennants awesome? They were made by S and E for an Opening Ceremonies party they hosted. Q is ecstatic to receive these. But wait, there's more!

A Quatchi shrinky dink! I used to love, love, love making these when I was a kid. Thanks again, S and E for the package!!!

We're Golden!

Finally! Alexandre Bilodeau won the men's moguls freestyle skiing title last night, claiming the first Olympic gold medal to be won by a Canadian on home soil. Woohoo! Here's Q reading up on Bilodeau's win in the Toronto Star this morning.

To celebrate, Q brought out this giant golden M+M. He's hoping that the Canadians win many more medals over the next two weeks. So far we have one gold, one silver, and one bronze.

In other news, Quatch Watch was recently featured for the second time on Quatchi Watch. S and E post a lot of great videos and fan art that's worth checking out. They too have gotten crafty. Check out their pennants and papercraft!

Q on Quatchi Watch

Quatch Watch was recently featured on Quatchi Watch, another fun blog dedicated to our favourite sasquatch. Quatchi Watch is a joint effort by Seattletonians Eliza and Steve. They met the Vacouver mascot at a community festival in Langley and fell in love with him instantly. Q enjoys visiting their site and encourages you to check it out too. Also, check out the 38" Quatchi plush with E and S below. Now that's one giant Quatchi!
