Quarantine Life

How is everyone holding up? We just finished week five of quarantine life. Maggie has been keeping busy at the condo.

She has been trying lots of new cookie recipes, including this one for buckwheat chocolate cookies from Bon Appetit.

She has also been reading books. Dear Girls is the last book we got from the library before it shut down because of COVID-19.

Every now and then she watches movies on Netflix. Shout out to Chris for adding us to your account!

A Quiet Sunday

Buddy and Mr. Ji escaped to Portland, Maine with B and I for some rest and relaxation. We stayed at The Francis, a lovely boutique hotel. This photo was taken in a sitting area right outside our room. We hope everyone had a fab weekend!

Games Night

Q and his pals are having a good old fashioned games night. I found them playing an intense game of Cranium. I wonder who will win?

Buddy the Beach Bum

Buddy and I escaped to the beach on Friday! We met up with BC in London, and ventured on a pleasant one-hour drive to Grand Bend.

The beach was nice and clean, and not too crowded. Buddy was excited for an afternoon in the sun.

Buddy spent most of his time napping, eating snacks, and reading a book.

Buddy was a natural beach bum!

My Sunday afternoon will be consumed of reading for work, but at least I get to do it outside, and with the Quatchis!

Bedroom Progress

The Quatchis spent the afternoon enjoying the new bed and bedding. They're very pleased to have the bedroom semi set-up now. We're still looking to paint the walls, replace the side tables, and buy a desk. Hopefully we can share more progress soon!

Staying In

Somehow I managed to catch a cold in the summertime! Over the long weekend no less. It's hitting me hard too.

The Quatchis and I stayed in tonight to watch The Artist. They were big fans of the music. I liked the whole concept of it all.

The weekend is just around the corner! Aren't short weeks the best?

A Walk in the Park

Q and I escaped to NYC for the Thanksgiving long weekend. The weather was gorgeous so we tried to spend as much time outside as possible. On Monday we went for a leisurely stroll in Central Park, our favourite place in the city! Here's Q checking out the lake.
